PlatoWorkout Tracker for iPhone

Privacy Policy

Last updated July 14, 2026

Plato is a workout tracker. This policy explains what information the app stores, why, and what control you have over it. The short version: your data exists so the app can work, it is never sold, there are no ads, and you can erase everything yourself at any time.

What we collect

That's the whole list. Plato does not collect your location, contacts, photos, health records, or device advertising identifiers, and it does not include analytics or advertising SDKs.

How it's used

Your data is used for exactly one purpose: making the app function — signing you in, syncing your workouts, and showing you your own history and progress. It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for tracking across other apps or websites.

Where it's stored

Plato stores account and workout data with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which acts as our data processor. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on Google's infrastructure. You can read Google's own commitments in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.

Sign in with Apple and Google

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only your email address (which may be a private relay address if you use Apple's Hide My Email) and, on first sign-in, your name. We never see your Apple or Google password.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and every piece of data associated with it directly inside the app: Profile → Delete account. After you confirm your identity, your workouts, templates, custom exercises, plans, and account record are erased immediately. This is not a deactivation — the data is gone. You can also email us at the address below to request deletion.

Children

Plato is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date above. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
